An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Roof Tree, the 1921 John Francis Dillon (billed as "John Dillon") silent Kentucky hillbilly family feud romantic love triangle melodrama ("Story by Charles Neville Buck"; a complicated story of a man from rural Kentucky who kills his brother-in-law and then flees to Kentucky, and he finds love there, but a jealous rival threatens to expose him; he marries the girl and the rival does expose him, but his sister claims to have killed her husband in self defense, which gets him off, and he then beats up his rival) starring William Russell, Florence Deshon, Sylvia Breamer, William Robert Daly, and Arthur Morrison. Note that the "roof tree" of the title is an ancient tree that was planted by one of the family's earliest ancestors when they first settled in America, and the couple is married under that tree. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny paper loss on small parts of some foldlines. It had some pinholes and tears around the edges.
