An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Tess of the Storm Country, the 1932 Alfred Santell romantic melodrama (based on the novel by Grace Miller White; also based on the play by Rupert Hughes) starring Janet Gaynor (in the title role as Tess Howland), Charles Farrell, Dudley Digges, Jane Clyde, and Claude Gillingwater. Note that there had been two silent movies based on this same novel and there was a later version in 1960 as well.

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this title card, and that was 12 years ago!

Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
