An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Spanish Movie Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 39 1/4" [70 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) El Cantante de Napoles (literally translates to "The Singer of Naples"), the 1935 Howard Bretherton and Moreno Cuyar romantic musical melodrama (about the son of a poor blacksmith who is shunned by his family for leaving the family business to become a singer; he meets a rich woman who is connected with the Milan opera and she and a young love of his help him become a famous opera singer; his family then forgives them and they are reconciled!) starring Enrico Caruso Jr. (son of the famed opera singer), Mona Maris, Carmen Rio, Alfonso Pedroza, Antonio Vidal, and Jinx Falkenburg (uncredited, in her first movie!) Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned two Spanish heralds for this movie and no other movie paper for it whatsoever until we were consigned this Spanish poster! Condition: good. There are light bronw water stains scattered through the poster, but they mostly show in the borders and in the light background areas although there are some in the star's faces. There is separation and tiny paper loss at the top crossfold. Obviously this poster has real defects, but they can be corrected through restoration, and afterwards the poster will display really, well but bear the above in mind before bidding.
