An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 11 1/2" x 17 1/2" [29 x 44 cm]) (Learn More) Conquest of Space, the 1955 Byron Haskin science fiction (sci-fi) outer space astronaut thriller ("See how it will happen ...in your lifetime!"; produced by George Pal; "Based on the book by Chesley Bonestell and Willy Ley", who were both highly acclaimed science fiction/science fact writers; the writers were very correct that it would happen in "your" lifetime; they correctly predicted a space station, and they were off on the timing of a manned Mars expedition, but that is likely coming soon, and there was a movie recently made about that, called "The Martian"!) starring Walter Brooke, Eric Fleming, Mickey Shaughnessy, Phil Foster, William Redfield, William Hopper, Benson Fong, Ross Martin, and Joan Shawlee NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Note that the window card was folded across the original center at one time. Because the foldline has tape on the back, we don't want to re-fold the window card prior to mailing, because we believe that re-folding the window card would lessen its condition (we never roll window cards into a tube). If you specifically request it, we will re-fold this window card, but you will not be able to return it. Condition: good. The card had very wide blank borders and someone neatly trimmed them, leaving around 1/2" on all sides, and the card now measures 11 1/2" x 17 1/2".
