An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Sunset in El Dorado, the 1945 Frank McDonald singing cowboy western ("Original Story by Leon Abrams") starring Roy Rogers ("King of the Cowboys"), Trigger ("The Smartest Horse in the Movies"), George 'Gabby' Hayes, Dale Evans, Hardie Albright, Margaret Dumont, Roy Barcroft, and Bob Nolan and The Sons of The Pioneers. Note that it might seem odd that Dale Evans was fourth billed (below Trigger and Gabby Hayes!), but at this time, she and Roy were married to other people, and they were only a couple on screen. The following year, Roy's wife sadly died, and when Dale divorced soon after, their on screen romance continued off screen as well! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair to good. The poster is in much lesser condition. There are several defects scattered along the edges and foldlines/crossfolds and there are several significant areas of foldline and/or crossfold separation. Many of the defects have been repaired with tape from the back that may bleed through to the front.
