The Producers, the 2005 Susan Stroman New York City Broadway stage acting musical comedy (a musical remake of the 1967 Mel Brooks movie of the same name) starring Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Uma Thurman, Will Ferrell, Gary Beach, Roger Bart, and John Lovitz. Note that Mel Brooks was convinced to do a Broadway musical show based on his 1967 movie, and it was so successful that it was turned into this 2005 musical movie!
