An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 47 1/4" x 62 1/2" [120 x 159 cm]) (Learn More) Tre Uomini in Frak (released in the U.S. in 1951 as "I Sing for You Alone"), the 1933 Mario Bonnard French/Italian mistaken identity musical comedy (about a wonderful young tenor singer who has terrible stage fright, and his friends arrange for a man to lip-sync to his singing backstage, but then he is found out!) starring Tito Schipa, Fred Pasquali (billed as "Pasquali"), Jean Gobet, Simone Vaudry, Jeanne Perriat, and Charles DeChamps Artist: Venabert Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned an example of this poster with this great art by Venabert before (and it is a "country of origin" poster for this partially French movie)! This is an extremely rare French poster from before World War II! Virtually no French posters survive from before World War II since apparently there were many paper shortages in Europe during World War II, resulting in the destruction of almost all posters from before and World War II, and also from during the war, and the first few years afterwards.
