the international theatrical release of Dekalog (released in the U.S. as "The Decalogue"), the 1989 Krzysztof Kieslowski Polish made-for-TV melodrama television series (ten short episodes compiled into a single feature movie, each loosely based around one of the Ten Commandments) starring Artur Barcis, Olgierd Lukaszewics, Olaf Lubaszenko, Piotr Machalica, Jan Tesarz, Katarzyna Piwowarczyk and Henryk Baranowski. Note that director Krzysztof Kieslowski made two feature films, "A Short Film About Killing" and "A Short Film About Love", and either they are expanded versions of two of the episodes from this TV series, or the TV series were condensed versions of the movies. In 1995, he made his trilogy of "Three Colors" movies (Red, White, and Blue).
