The left two panels had some paper loss at the crossfolds and some tears and tiny paper loss on parts of the foldlines, and the word "CinemaScope" had faded. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking (depending on how you grade an incomplete poster). The right two panels of the poster (approximately the right one-third) was expertly recreated (see our super-sized image to get a good sense of how the poster now displays).
