An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Little Men, the 1935 Phil Rosen romantic juvenile melodrama ("Nat Levine presents Louisa M. Alcott's immortal classic 'Little Men'"; based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott; Jo March, the star of the earlier novel, Little Women, is now grown up and runs a school for homeless boys, and she gets involved in their personal lives) starring Ralph Morgan, Erin O'Brien-Moore, Junior Durkin, Frankie Darro, Cora Sue Collins, Phyllis Fraser and "The Little Men" David Durand, Dickie Moore, Tad Alexander, Buster Phelps, Ronny Crosby, Tommy Bupp, Bobby Cox, Dickie Jones, Richard Quine, Donald Buck, George Ernest, and Eddie Dale Heiden. Note that Little Women in 1933 was a major RKO film starring Katharine Hepburn as Jo March. This movie is based on a sequel book by Alcott, but it was made by Mascot, and it stars Erin O'Brien-Moore as Jo (now married, and she is Jo Bhaer) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was never folded. It COULD conceivably be rolled and sent in a tube, but it would certainly damage the poster to do so, so we will only send it to the winning bidder in a large flat package that measures approximately 16" x 38". Please bear this added expense in mind before bidding on this poster. Note that this item needs to be shipped in an oversized flat package. Most of these items absolutely can only be sent in flat packages, and could not possibly be rolled into a tube. Some of them might SEEM like they could be rolled in a tube, like a half-sheet, but they can't. The reason these items are in this auction is specifically because they CAN'T be rolled (because rolling any of them would damage them, even if they somehow can be rolled). So please bear in mind that this item must be sent in a LARGE flat package (the size of the package will depend on the size of the item when ready for shipping), and bear this added expense in mind before placing a bid on it. Condition: fair to good. The poster was never folded. It has darkening and staining down the right 1 1/2", with small tears and tiny paper loss in parts of the borders, and paper loss in the bottom corners. It has darkening in part of the left blank border and creases and a tear in the upper right, affecting the girl's hair, and also two tears near the middle of the right border, one extending into the "N" of "MEN" in the title. The poster is fragile. Obviously, this poster has very real defects, but it is also true that the image is not very affected by those defects, and after proper restoration and paperbacking, the poster will look fantastic, with very little paint restoration required within the image.
