An Original Vintage Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh) (Learn More) Curlytop, the 1924 Maurice Elvey silent London England romantic love triangle melodrama ("By Thomas Burke, author of 'Limehouse Nights'"; "One white mouse among the Limehouse Rats"; about a beautiful teen girl who has twelve golden curls of hair, and she gets a boyfriend, but his ex-girlfriend gets her drunk and cuts off her hair and helps a Chinese hypnotist kidnap her, and after Curlytop disappears, the boyfriend reunited with his girlfriend, but then finds her golden curls in her possession and figures out what happened, and everything gets resolved) starring Shirley Mason (in the title role as Curlytop), Wallace MacDonald, Warner Oland (as a Chinese hypnotist!), Maurice Elvey, Diana Miller, and George Kuwa (best known as the first Charlie Chan!). Note that this movie has no relationship to the 1935 movie "Curly Top" starring Shirley Temple, although they have similar names.
