The Sting, the classic 1974 George Roy Hill (winner of the Best Director Academy Award for this film) poker horse racing gambling con men crime comedy ("...all it takes is a little Confidence."; "Written by David S. Ward"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award; about a group of con men who swindle a criminal out of a huge amount of money) starring Paul Newman, Robert Redford (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Robert Shaw, Ray Walston, Charles Durning, Harold Gould, Sally Kirkland, and Robert Earl Jones

Important Added Info: Note that this is a very rare uncut printer's test! Before a poster was printed in large quantities, the printer would print a limited number of posters as "test" posters. Commonly, they would leave the color chart on the left edge of the poster, which added an extra inch to the width of the poster (which explains why the poster measures 28 1/4" x 41"). These printer's tests would then be shown to the various people in a position to "OK" them, and once they were completely approved, the printer would print the full print run of the posters. Not only is a printer's test far more rare than a regular poster, but it is also 100% genuine, there is no fear of purchasing a reproduction! Also note that this is a teaser one-sheet (note the lack of credits and the "Opens Citywide Fri. May 27th".
