Some of her movies include: Network (winner of the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film; she was only on-screen for five minutes and two seconds, which was the briefest performance ever to win an Oscar), Poltergeist, and The Nun's Story. She passed away in 2001 at the age of 86. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION photo has been personally autographed (signed) by Beatrice Straight! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
