An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Holy Year at the Vatican (also released as "Holy Year 1950"), the 1950 Anthony Muto & Jean Pages historical religious documentary featurette ("Filmed in the Vatican with the approval of His Holiness and the Central Committee for the Holy Year"; "A feature motion picture that will take you on the pilgrimage!"; "An inspiring story of the pilgrimages being made to the Vatican with magnificent scenes of life in Vatican City."; "A March of Time Full Length Feature") narrated by Monsignor Fulton J. Sheen, Kenny Delmar, and Father Robert J. Gannon. Note that the IMDb says that this movie (which was produced by Time Inc. for their "March of Time" series) was first distributed by Astor Pictures under the title "The Holy Year at the Vatican", which DID release some original movies (mostly from small companies), but while we have seen a poster that has Astor on it, we have also seen a poster that has 20th Century-Fox on it, and the title is "Holy Year 1950", which the IMDb says is an "alternate title". It seems quite possible that Astor initially distributed it and then 20th Century-Fox picked it up, but it is also possible that the reverse is true. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
Important Added Info: Note that this title card is extremely rare. We have never auctioned it before! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of this card. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
