An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) In the Name of Love, the 1925 Howard Higgin silent romantic comedy ("From the play 'The Lady of Lyons' by Bulwer Lytton") starring Ricardo Cortez, Greta Nissen, Wallace Beery, Raymond Hatton, and Lillian Leighton. Note that in 1926, Wallace Beery and Raymond Hatton appeared in "Behind the Front", and the public loved the comic antics of this very large man with this very small man, and they went on to make a series of similar movies. They were so popular that there was also an imitation series of similar movies starring Karl Dane and George K. Arthur. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a single scene lobby card (18 years ago) from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this title card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card has slightly darkened, except where there was a tack in each corner. There is a faint pencil mark running from the woman's nose down into the Paramount credit at bottom center, and someone tried to erase it, but it is still somewhat noticeable.
