An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) A Yank in the R.A.F., the 1941 Henry King World War II (WWII) Royal Air Force romantic airplane aviation pilot military propaganda thriller ("Produced by Darryl F. Zanuck"; about a hot shot American pilot in the days just before the U.S. entered World War II, who cares only about himself, but he goes to England and meets an old girlfriend who is now in the R.A.F., and he joins in an effort to win her back, and in doing so, comes to realize why the Allies were fighting in World War II) starring Tyrone Power Jr., Betty Grable, John Sutton, Reginald Gardiner, Gladys Cooper, and Ralph Byrd NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
