Dialogue continuity by John Meehan."; about a rich lawyer in California who brings a mobster client home with him, and his free-spirited daughter runs off with the mobster!) starring Norma Shearer (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Leslie Howard, Lionel Barrymore (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), James Gleason, Clark Gable (one of an amazing 13 movies he appeared in this year, the year he started getting billed, and he is fifth billed, below James Gleason, even though he has a major role in the movie!), Lucy Beaumont, and Roscoe Ates. Note that Lucy Beaumont was an English stage actress who was born in 1869 and came to Hollywood in 1914, at the age of 45, and she played "old lady" roles for the next 20+ years, usually playing a woman much older than herself. She was nicknamed "The Mother of Hollywood", and she passed away in 1937 at the age of 68. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. There are pinholes, smudges, and some darkening around the edges, and a few faint scuffs and smudges within the image. There is a 1" tear in the upper left blank border. There is faint blue paint residue in the top edge of the top blank border. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
