An Unfolded German Advertising Poster (measures 23 1/2" x 33" [60 x 84 cm]) (Learn More) Mode Und Heim (literally translates to "Fashion and Home"), the 1931 German advertising poster promoting this magazine (which ran from 1931 to 1944), and featuring art of a woman in a dress and hat. Artist: Jo Wro Important Added Info: Note that this poster is promoting one of the first issues of the magazine, and it mentions that sewing patterns are included! Also, note that the poster has a snipe glued to the lower right that gives the price of the magazine (it originally read "50 pfennigs", but obviously, the publisher lowered the price by 5 pfennigs after this poster was printed, so they needed to revise the price). Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has a strip of plastic with holes attached to the back of the top border (no doubt this was done as a way of hanging this poster with others on racks, and being able to easily access any of them). The plastic strip could be removed by a professional or talented amateur, or of course, the excess plastic could simply be trimmed off. There is a price snipe glued to the bottom right blank blue area that has creases around it, caused by the glue from the snipe. Otherwise, the poster is in pretty nice condition!
