6m0380 LOT OF 11 FORMERLY TRI-FOLDED SINGLE-SIDED VALENTINA THE VIRGIN WIFE ONE-SHEETS 1975 sexy!

Date Sold 5/12/2024
Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price.

a lot of 11 formerly tri-folded single-sided one-sheets from La Moglie Vergine (released in the U.S. in 1977 as "Valentina. The Virgin Wife" and also released simply as "The Virgin Wife") the 1975 Marino Girolami (billed as "Franco Martinelli") Italian sexploitation comedy ("A love affair that changed the course of matrimony!"; "No girl likes to be short changed, especially by her husband!") starring Edwige Fenech (in the title role as Valentina), Carroll Baker, Renzo Montagnani, Ray Lovelock, Michele Gammino, Florence Barnes, Antonio Guidi, Maria Rosaria Riuzzi, and Gabriella Giorgelli. Note that Carroll Baker had had a significant career in U.S. movies, starting with "Baby Doll" in 1954 and continuing through "Harlow" in 1965. But after that, good parts in the U.S. became scarce, and she made an Italian/Spanish movie, "L'Harem", and apparently liked it, because she moved to Europe, where she spent several years making mostly Italian and German movies, before getting married in 1982. IMPORTANT! The lot contains multiple examples of the same poster, so we have only pictured one, but the winner of this auction receives all of them!

These one-sheets were tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold). Because sending tri-folded one-sheets in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 13" x 30", would cost much more than sending them rolled in a tube, we have opened these and they will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. We have only pictured one of the posters, but all of them are in similar condition. See the one that we pictured to get a sense of the condition of all the posters.
