Stein newspaper journalism reporter romantic crime murder mystery thriller ("The Romance of a Sob-Sister"; "A Ralph Block Production"; a very early talkie about a very sexy female newspaper reporter who gets an accused killer released from jail and gets him a job at her newspaper) starring Phyllis Haver, Raymond Hatton, Margaret Livingston, Leslie Fenton, and Dan Wolheim. Important Added Info: The window card originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this was commonly done with window cards, when the top had been left blank, or when someone had hand-scrawled play date information in that area). Most collectors do not consider it to be a significant defect at all, since only blank white paper is lost, and the window card becomes easier to frame. This window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: very good.
