Take Carrie to the prom."; "If only they knew she had the power."; "Based on the novel by Stephen King"; about a high school outcast who unleashes her telekinetic powers in revenge against those who have humiliated her) starring Sissy Spacek (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Carrie), John Travolta (before he became a star, in an early role), Piper Laurie (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Amy Irving, William Katt, Betty Buckley, and Nancy Allen NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had unevenly spaced vertical creases, with many creases and scuffs along them and some horizontal creases in the top of the poster. There was a studio-issued snipe (oddly for the insert) glued to the bottom center of the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects, and the restorer painted over all of the snipe except for the part that reads "CARRIE - INSERT".
