An Original 1967 (from the first release of this movie in Australia) Vintage Theatrical Folded Teaser Australian Daybill Movie Poster (db; measures 13 1/2" x 30" [34 x 76 cm]) (Learn More) Dementia 13 (also released as "The Haunted and the Hunted"), the 1963 Francis Ford Coppola (very early in his career!) AIP horror thriller ("Are you afraid of death by drowning?... Have you ever attempted suicide?... Have you ever thought of committing murder?... These are some of the questions you will be asked in the unprecedented 'D-13 Test' to prepare you for the horrifying experience of... Dementia 13"; "If You Fail The Test... You will be asked to leave the theatre!"; "Which One Is The Killer?"; "Richard... Brooding artist, hiding a deep secret."; "Louise... Willing to do anything to gain fortune."; "Dr. Calbe... Was he investigating his own crime?"; "Billy... Warped by the mystery of the castle."; "Lady Haloran... Is she revenging the death of Kathleen?"; "The most terrifying screen experience of your life!"; produced by Roger Corman) starring William Campbell, Luana Anders, Bart Patton, Mary Mitchell, Patrick Magee, Ethne Dunn, and Barbara Dowling NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a horizontal teaser Australian daybill (note the complete lack of credits on the poster). We don't know why they chose to do it for this one movie (there is also a regular vertical daybill), but we certainly wish it had been done for lots of other movies! A knowledgeable collector points out that the art from this poster was "borrowed" from the posters for a 1950s Australian spook show called Dr. Dracula's Living Nightmares. The spook show was created by a magician and stage performer named Card Mondor, and because he was also involved in Australian film distribution, that may be why this film uses the art from the spook show posters. Condition: very good to fine. The poster has minor fold and border wear. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well! Learn More about condition grades
