An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures 30" x 40" [76 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Through Shadowed Vales, the 1912 English silent marriage melodrama ("King Baggott in the Absorbing Imp Drama"; about a husband who is angered that his wife does not approve of his wild lifestyle) starring King Baggott, and Jane Fearnley. Note that we could not find a director credited for this movie anywhere! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this English one-sheet! Also note that few people know that in the early days of British quads, they were originally in a vertical format (but they measured 30" x 40", just as they continue to do throughout the years). This is because so few of them survive, almost surely because of the massive paper shortages in England during World War II! At some point in the 1950s, they changed orientation to be horizontal, and they have remained that way to the present day. Condition: very good. The poster has some slight discoloration and paper loss along the lower right blank border and to a lesser extent the upper left blank border). There is a slight crease along the upper horizontal fold but otherwise this incredibly rare poster is in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
