An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Fangs of the Arctic, the 1953 Rex Bailey Royal Canadian Mounted Police RCMP mountie canine dog western adventure thriller starring Kirby Grant, Warren Douglas, Lorna Hansen, Leonard Penn, and Chinook the Wonder Dog. Note that Chinook the Wonder Dog was a white dog that looked like a cross between a Siberian Husky and a German Shepherd, and he appeared in ten movies between 1949 and 1954, all set in the Yukon. We were unable to find out why Chinook's career ended so suddenly, but perhaps he had substance abuse problems or some other problem! Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets).
