Date Sold 2/2/2014 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 172 German cigarette cards contained in an album from the 1930s. The album contains many pages designed to have the cigarette cards glued onto the empty spots (some pages seven and some pages eight) and the album is entirely filled. There are glassine sheets between many of the pages and there are four cool full-color 9" x 11" pages showing scenes from movies, and one of them shows Peter Lorre in one of his German movies! The person who owned this album likely purchased it empty and then added the cigarette cards, or it is possible that it was sold with the cards in it. All of the cards are glued in firmly, but certainly could be removed by a talented amateur or a professional, or of course, they could be left exactly as they are. Condition: very good. There is much staining on the covers, but the interiors are in nice condition (but remember that the cards are glued into the pages as described above).
