An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Horror Island, the 1941 George Waggner Universal horror murder mystery thriller ("Original Story by Alex Gottlieb"; a wacky story of a man who is hired to help a man who recently inherited an island with a castle on it, and the owner thinks there is treasure on it, and instead of hiring people to go to the island to find it, he sells tickets on a boat cruise, where the passengers get to go to the island and hunt for the treasure, but of course, they find murder as the passengers are killed off one by one, and if the movie seems similar to Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians", it is because it is!) starring Dick Foran, Leo Carrillo, Peggy Moran, Fuzzy Knight, Lewis Howard, Walter Catlett, Hobart Cavanaugh, John Eldredge, and Iris Adrian NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"! Learn More about condition grades
