An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked French "Petite" Stage Play Poster (measures 15 3/4" x 23" [40 x 58 cm]) (Learn More) L'Alouette (literally translates to "The Lark"), the 1953 French stage play production (of the play by Jean Anouilh about Joan of Arc) starring Suzanne Flon (as Joan of Arc), Marcel-Andre, Michel Bouquet, Michel Etcheverry, and Maurice Jacquemont. This play was held at the Theater Montparnasse (then known as Montparnasse-Gaston Baty) in Paris If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The entire poster had darkened. It had greater darkening in the borders, with a semi-circular area of paper loss in the middle of the left border. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
