Simon Bolivar, the 1969 Alessandro Blasetti Italian/Spanish/Venezuelan historical biographical fight-for-independence melodrama (a fictionalized biography of the Venezuelan hero who liberated from the Spanish Empire what are currently the republics of Venezuela, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Panama, and of course, Bolivia is named after him) starring Maximilian Schell (in the title role as Simon Bolivar), Rosanna Schiaffino, Francisco Rabal, Barta Barri, and Elisa Cegani
