An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Rangers Take Over, the 1943 Albert Herman Texas Rangers cowboy western starring The Texas Rangers (Dave 'Tex' O'Brien, Jim Newill, and Guy Wilkerson), Iris Meredith, and Cal Shrum's Rhythm Rangers, Forrest Taylor, and I. Stanford Jolley. Note that this was the first movie where Guy Wilkerson became one of "The Texas Rangers", which likely explains why he received much lesser billing than O'Brien and Newill (and was fourth billed after Iris Meredith!). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the bottom crossfold and creases and tiny tears in the bottom foldline, and in the bottom quarter of the vertical foldline. There was some fine surface paper loss on the other folds. There were some creases, tears, and stains in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
