An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Sheet Music (measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More)

Smitty was a newspaper comic strip created in the early 1920s by Walter Berndt. It was syndicated nationally by the Chicago Tribune New York News Syndicate, and it ran from November 29, 1922 to 1974. The strip featured young office boy Smitty, his six-year-old brother Herby, his girlfriend Ginny and his dog Scraps. Other characters were Smitty's boss, Mr. Bailey, and the Native American Indian guide, Little Moose. As the strip progressed, the teenage Smitty aged to young adulthood and eventually got married.
Artist: Walter Berndt
Important Added Info: Note that this sheet music is for the song "Smitty". Also note that this item has been trimmed and it now measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm].

Condition: fair. The bottom of the sheet music was unevenly trimmed, and there are many creases and tears in that area, and it affects a comic strip on the back cover.
