An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (SpanUS 1sh; printed in Spanish in the U.S. for Spanish speaking audiences; 27" x 41") (Learn More) Africa Segreta (released in the U.S. in 1970 as "Secret Africa"), the 1969 Guido Guerrasio, Alfredo Castiglioni, & Angelo Castiglioni Italian documentary ("Africa uncivilized! Africa unsurpassed!"; "Never before has the screen shown such astounding and authentic primitive ceremonies!"; a "Mondo Cane" style exploitation documentary about the natives of French Equatorial Africa, and includes sequences on adult circumcision rites of the Bariba tribe, whipping of young Peuls, a secret asylum in the jungle, newborn tattooing in the Haussa tribe, and the Muslim Tabaski tribe's rites) narrated by Riccardo Cucciolla If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was printed in the United States for use at theaters with Spanish speaking audiences (this was done most by MGM, starting in the 1930s, but it was done by the other major studios as well, and often the posters would have the exact same image as the English language poster, except the writing would be in Spanish, and often there would be an added "Toda en Espanol!", meaning "Entirely in Spanish!", printed within the image). Also note that this poster contains partially unclothed women, so we have placed a white bar over those areas, for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual poster does not have those white bars! Condition: fair to good. There is some rippling and discoloration throughout the poster from exposure to moisture.
