You fight your way out of Thunder Gorge and Cree ambush! You cross the granite-walled Rockies! You're swept up by the swirling 'white waters' of the Maligne, Bow and Snake Indian Rivers... As Monroe and Mitchum meet, fight and love!"; "Only yesterday I was the honky-tonk dancer, the gambler's doll."; "He was the frontier-blazer, a man used to taking what he wanted..."; "Here, we sensed our over-powering loneliness."; "In the wonder of High-Fidelity Directional-Stereophonic Sound"; "Engulfs you in a flood of excitement!"; "And she can sing too!"; "From a story by Louis Lantz"; about a saloon singer and her gambler husband, who are rafting in Canada to register a mining claim; they are rescued by a farmer and his young son, and the cowardly gambler deserts his wife, and she, the farmer, and the son have to fend off an Indian attack) starring Robert Mitchum, Marilyn Monroe, Rory Calhoun, Tommy Rettig, Murvyn Vye, and Douglas Spencer. Note that Marilyn Monroe was injured during the violent river rafting scene, and she walked on crutches through the rest of the filming! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. The card at the top left of our image was folded across the bottom 1" and there is brown paper tape on the back of the left and bottom borders. The card at the top right of our image had masking tape over the top right tagline area, and it was roughly removed, leaving tape stains and causing surface paper loss. The card in the bottom left of our image had the word "THURSDAY" written in pencil in the upper left of the card, and someone unsuccessfully tried to remove it with an eraser. That same card has tape stains on the back that bleed through to the front. The card in the middle left of our image has pinholes in the borders. The card in the middle right of our image (the one with Marilyn playing the guitar) is in really excellent condition! Learn More about condition grades
