George Herman 'Babe' Ruth was a legendary professional sports baseball player from the 1910s to the 1930s, playing with the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees. Nicknamed "the Bambino" and "the Sultan of Swat", he is perhaps one of the most famous baseball players to have played the game, having led the Red Sox and the Yankees to a total of seven World Series championships. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936 only a year after his retirement! Ruth passed away in 1948 at the age of 53.
Important Added Info: Note that the actual photos that these are negatives of were taken in 1925, but we have no idea when the negatives are from. We would say they are surely from the 1960s or earlier, but that is purely a guess, and we suppose there is a chance they are from the 1920s or 1930s. We are calling them "1960s", for the sake of playing safe, but it is just a guess. Please do not bid on these unless you can accept the extreme uncertainty as to when they are from.

We have put a scan of each negative that shows the "positive image" (in addition to a scan of the negative image). REMEMBER THAT WHAT YOU RECEIVE WILL BE PHOTOGRAPHIC NEGATIVES, NOT POSITIVE IMAGES LIKE YOU ARE SEEING. However, we will provide the winning bidder of this auction the positive image scans that are both high quality and not watermarked (on request to the winning bidder, and only the winning bidder). We scanned them, so that bidders could see just how high quality they are.

Condition: very good.
