An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Dance Hall (released in the U.S. as "Dance Hall Girls"), the 1950 Charles Crichton English Ealing Studios London England romantic love triangle dance competition melodrama ("What happens to the jive girls ...when the lights go out!"; "'Shop soiled ...that's what I am!"'; "Wolves in dancing shoes!"; about a dance hall in a working class area of London, and a pretty girl is the best dancer there, and she chooses a great dancer to be her partner over her own husband, which makes him very jealous; I wonder if the writers of Saturday Night Fever saw this movie?) starring Donald Houston, Bonar Colleano, Diana Dors (only 19 years-old, in one of her many early low-billed roles, playing a very sexy brunette girl, because this was before she bleached her hair blonde!), Jane Hylton, Petula Clark (English actress who years later had a highly successful career as a pop singer, best remembered for the song "Downtown"), Natasha Parry, Geraldo & his Orchestra, and Ted Heath & his Music NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning, and we have only auctioned some lobby cards and a few still for this film and no other movie paper for it whatsoever! Also not that is poster has stamps on the back that indicates that it came from the legendary "Cozy Theater" collection! Condition: good. The poster has creases and small tears on parts of the folds, more so the top and bottom folds, and someone put tape on the back of all of those folds and it is somewhat "sticky" so the poster must be handled carefully. There is also an extra horizontal fold 1 1/2" below the left half of the top fold. There are also some pieces of tape on back of parts of other folds. This ultra rare poster is in urgent need of expert restoration, but after it receives it will display well. However, bear in mind all of the above before bidding on it.
