Give a roar! Give a Cheer! The gayest lovers of the year are here"; "It's glorious comedy... Uproarious romance!"; "Danger! Wild woman on the loose!"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; about a married couple who fight all the time and start to get a divorce, but they do all they can to stop each other in finding their new love) starring Irene Dunne (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Cary Grant, Ralph Bellamy (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Alexander D'Arcy, Cecil Cunningham, Joyce Compton, Robert Warwick, Mary Forbes, and Asta (as Mr. Smith the dog; billed as "Skippy" which was his real name, but he was better known as Asta from the Thin Man films) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that lobby cards from this classic romantic comedy are rarely auctioned, and the ones that are almost always darkened (typical of Columbia lobby cards of this period). But this card is not at all darkened and is in really nice condition (likely because it was in the Mike Hawks collection; see below)! Also note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine.
