An Autographed Contract (measures 8 1/2" x 21 3/4"; 2 pages) (Learn More) Anita Louise was an actress from the 1920s to the 1970s. She came to prominence in the mid 1930s at Warner Bros., but she had actually been in movies since 1922, when she was a 7 year-old child actress, and she successfully made the transition to a teen actress, and then an adult leading lady (one of the very few child stars to ever do this, joining Natalie Wood, and a very select few others)! She was also a WAMPAS Baby Star in 1931. Some of her movies include: The Story of Louis Pasteur, A Midsummer Night's Dream, A Dream Comes True, Tovarich, The Little Princess, and Marie Antoinette. She passed away in 1970 at the age of 50 after a stroke. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Anita Louise! Note that the contract has Miss Louise's social security number on it, and we have placed a white box over that number in our image, but of course, the actual item does not have that white box. Note that this contract is on a very large single sheet, and we have photographed both sides of the contract, so our images show everything (however, there are two "riders" attached to the back of the lower part of the contract, and Miss Louise initialed both of those, and we photographed the back as it appears, with the riders over the contract; they obscure some of the fine print of the contract, but not Miss Louise's signature, which is beneath them; see our images)! Note that our consignor has been a memorabilia dealer for the past 30 years, and he tells us that he is certain this autograph is authentic. In some cases he obtained the autographs in person, and in other cases (like with contracts and agreements), it is obvious the signatures are authentic, but he vouches for the authenticity of every item that he has consigned to us, and we also feel certain that the autographs are authentic.
