She was the daughter of a Bolivian father and Irish-American mother, and in the early 1960s, she met one-time child actor and Hollywood agent, Patrick Curtis, who became her personal and business manager. They developed a plan to turn her into a sex symbol starting in 1963. Some of her movies include: One Million Years B.C., Bandolero, Fantastic Voyage, Kansas City Bomber, and Hannie Caulder. She passed away in 2023 at the age of 82. Important Added Info: Note that these stills were taken in 1972 when Raquel Welch was filming Hannie Caulder in Spain and she she was photographed playing tennis by photographer Terry O'Neill. Prior to this, she had attended a soccer match in England, and after the match, O'Neill convinced her to wear a Chelsea jersey (one of the two soccer teams in the match she attended) on the set of Hannie Caulder, as a publicity stunt, and he also took these photos of her playing tennis! Each of the stills measure 6 1/2" x 9 1/2" [17 x 24 cm] and are printed on double weight paper stock and have an ink pad stamp on back that reads "Photograph by Terry O'Neill, Copyright Hatton").
