A Matted Autographed Original Pencil Drawing (drawing measures 11" x 17" [28 x 43 cm]; entire display measures 14" x 20") (Learn More) Thirteen Ghosts, the 1960 William Castle haunted house horror thriller ("13 times the Thrills! 13 times the Screams! 13 times the Fun!"; "See the ghosts in ectoplasmic color"; "13 Ghosts in Illusion-O!", which required the use of a 'ghost viewer', which allowed squeamish viewers to block out the ghosts, and thus avoid a potential heart attack; "See the ghosts in ectoplasmic color"; "A ghost for every member of the family!"; "Free! Free! Free! Ghost Viewer"; "Ghost Viewer given to each patron during the chill-n-thrill engagement of 13 Ghosts at this theatre! You can't see the ghosts without a Ghost Viewer!"; "See! See! See!"; "in Illusion-O!"; "Yes, 13 times the entertainment when you use the new ghost-viewer FREE to everyone who sees the movie!"; "Written by Robb White") starring Charles Herbert, Jo Morrow, Martin Milner, Rosemary DeCamp, Donald Woods, Margaret Hamilton, and John Van Dreelen. Note that this movie (like many of William Castle's) had a gimmick where they provided you with a "ghost viewer". You could look through the red part to see the ghosts, or, if you were too scared, you could look through the blue part and then you would not be "terrified" by the ghosts! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Glen Eisner Important Added Info: Note that this original pencil drawing (one of nine similar pencil drawings we are currently auctioning in nine separate auctions) has been personally autographed (signed) by by the artist, Glen Eisner! Mr. Eisner has been working in film and television for over 35 years. Both in the horror field and other fields. He is known not only for his art, but for sculptures that he creates for use in making three-dimensional characters in horror films, and he teaches a college class called "Sculpture for 3-D Artists", where students build sculptures with aluminum wire and clay. This original drawing shows characters from this movie, and we don't know exactly under what circumstances it was created, but we think it is likely a private commission that he did for our consignor, who sadly is no longer with us, so he can't tell us the story behind it. It has been nicely matted, and is ready to frame and display on the new owner's wall! Condition: very good to fine. The drawing has been nicely matted (see our images).
