Important Added Info: Note that this is a very unusual poster, and possibly the only one in existence! In 2008, the Rex-Berkhamsted Theatre in the United Kingdom (which was voted the 22nd best cinema in the U.K. and Ireland by TimeOut magazine) held a special 40th anniversary showing of this classic movie and they had one or more examples of this special poster (with a completely different image) created in advance of that showing (the poster says "Coming Soon".) It appears that the poster was created on a color printer, and surely was made in limited quantities. We have never auctioned this poster before, and as we said, we don't know that any other exists! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this partially English movie! Also note that this English one-sheet measures 27 3/4" x 39 1/4" [70 x 100 cm]. Condition: good. It is incredibly difficult to grade this poster, because it appears that it was surely created with a lot of "faux" defects that were designed to make it look like it was forty years old. However, it may have acquired additional smudges and scuffs that 'blend in" with the other defects. There are also some light creases scattered in the bottom of the poster and a 1/2" tear in the upper left border. We have no other example of this poster to compare it to, and it might more accurately grade as "good to very good". However, please bear in mind the above and look closely at our super-sized image before bidding on this incredibly rare poster. Learn More about condition grades
