Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had some of its blank borders trimmed off and it now measures 28" x 41". It also had 1 1/2" x 2" area of paper loss at the top crossfold (falling in O'Hara's cheek and ear) and creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on the top foldline, with a lesser amount of wear on the other folds. There were pinholes around the edges of the poster. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Certainly, a talented restorer could perform additional restoration (either with or without re-backing the poster), but it might be fairly expensive to have this done, so bear that in mind before you place a bid.
