Poetry for the Beat Generation, the 1959 spoken word jazz record album featuring poetry from Jack Kerouac and music by Steve Allen. Note that this was the debut album of American novelist and poet Jack Kerouac. Kerouac was so impressed with how the poems sounded when accompanied by Steve Allen's piano that it became the first record Kerouac committed to audio.
