Date Sold 2/14/2023 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 8 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Young Man with a Horn, the 1950 Michael Curtiz trumpet music romantic biographical melodrama ("Put down your trumpet, Jazzman - I'm in the mood for love!"; "Matchless Warner Excitement!"; "From the blazing best-seller, a picture with a wallop... from Warner Bros."; "From the novel by Dorothy Baker"; about a great white jazz trumpet player, based on the life of Bix Beiderbecke) starring Kirk Douglas (as Rick Martin), Lauren Bacall, Doris Day (in her fourth movie role), Hoagy Carmichael, and Juano Hernandez. Note that Harry James supplied the trumpet playing for Kirk Douglas! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. Most of the scene cards have pinholes around the edges and at either center or upper center. Card #3 has a slightly torn pinhole at upper left. The title card has a faint stain at lower right (see our image).
