An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Jane Eyre, the 1934 Christy Cabanne romantic rich-older-man-poor-beautiful-woman melodrama (based on the classic novel by Charlotte Bronte) starring Virginia Bruce (in the title role as Jane Eyre), Colin Clive (as Edward Rochester), Beryl Mercer, David Torrence, Aileen Pringle, Lionel Belmore, Jameson Thomas, and Edith Fellows. Note that there had been four silent versions of this Bronte classic in the 1910s, and in 1943 it was remade with Orson Welles and Joan Fontaine in the lead roles, but this 1934 version is completely forgotten today!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned three examples of this poster before!

Condition: fair to good. As can be seen in our image, the poster was torn in half horizontally and there may be tiny bits of paper loss along that tear (see our image). The edges are backed with thick masking tape that slightly bleed through to the front. It is otherwise "mostly all there" and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
