An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) Some Like It Hot, the classic 1959 Billy Wilder (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) romantic musical cross-dressing drag crime comedy ("Hot!!!"; about two out of work musicians who happen to witness the St. Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago, and they need to leave town in a hurry, but the only jobs they can get is with an all-girl band, and they dress in drag, and one of the band members is Marilyn Monroe!) starring Marilyn Monroe ("and her bosom companions"), Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), George Raft, Pat O'Brien, and Joe E. Brown (the great star of 1920s and 1930s slapstick comedy, who practically steals this movie with a wonderful comic performance and an unforgettable final line!) Important Added Info: Note that the still does not appear to have a candid image, but it was included with 11 stills that DO have candid images, so we wonder if perhaps it was taken between scenes. It shows a great image of Tony Curtis passionately kissing Marilyn Monroe! Note that this still was consigned to us directly by the person who purchased it (along with 13 others) from the auction of the Billy Wilder Estate, and was Wilder's personal example of the still. Condition: fair to good. The still has extreme darkening in the left and bottom borders, extending into the bottom of the image.
