It began in 1920, shortly after the American Society of Cinematographers was founded in 1919, and at first it was a news letter, first biweekly, and then monthly. In 1929, it became a standard magazine. In the 1930s, it was aimed at both amateurs and professionals, but over time, it solely focused on professionals. It continued to be published through the decades, and it now has a digital edition! Important Added Info: Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and pictures of interior two-page spreads (including the table of contents page if there is one; but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!). Please know that these magazines are sealed in bags and are ready for shipping, and we cannot answer any questions about them or look through them for you, so please bid (or do not bid) based on the images we have provided. Condition: good. Note that we have attempted to check to see if the magazine is complete and uncut, and we believe that it is. However, there is a slight possibility that we might have missed a small cut or a page that was neatly removed, and if that happens, you can return the magazine. We have solely provided an overall description of the condition of the magazine, but you can also refer to our super-sized images. Please bid (or not bid) based on that overall grade and by viewing the super-sized images. Learn More about condition grades
