Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was tri-folded. It had slightly diagonal partial vertical folds down the middle, with creases and scuffs on those folds. It had minor wear on the horizontal folds and stain in the yellow background at middle left, and a few other small stains around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did little restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster). Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster.
