Howard silent romantic cowboy western melodrama (based on the novel by Zane Grey; about a cowhand at a ranch who is always drunk, but when an outlaw attempts to take over the ranch, he sobers up and wins everyone's respect, plus the love of the rancher's beautiful daughter) starring Jack Holt, Noah Beery Sr., Billie Dove, Alma Bennett, and William Scott. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1925 movie posters from this Zane Grey movie are incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single poster from this movie until we received this half-sheet! Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It has tack holes and faint smudges around the edges. It has a few smudges and tiny dot stains in the upper background areas. It was attached to a mat with small pieces of tape on the back of the top border, and they were removed, causing slight surface paper loss in those areas. The poster is not at all fragile, which is very unusual for a half-sheet this old. Learn More about condition grades
