Important Added Info: Note that this script is and the screenplay was written by Billy Wilder & I.A.L. Diamond. The script has 98 pages. It is an incomplete draft (that does not mean that pages are missing, but rather that when this draft was created, these were the only pages of the script that were completed at this time). On the 98th page, at the bottom, it says "LAST PART TO FOLLOW". Of course, there would have been later scripts with the rest of the movie, but this script predates those (see our images). Note that there is a cool page at the start of the script that says "This piece must be played molto furioso - at a rapid-fire, breakback tempo. Suggested speed: 100 miles an hour - on the curves - 140 miles an hour on the straightaway"! So if you have ever wondered why the actors in this movie deliver their lines at a speed unlike any other movie, now you know that it was Billy Wilder and I.A.L. Diamond who insisted on it! Condition: very good. The covers have slightly darkened around the edges and there is a faint circular stain in the blank top of the cover. Otherwise, the script is in nice condition!
