a photo about a plane named after Wilbur Wright, and christened by his brother and sister. The snipe on the still reads; PLANE 'WILBUR WRIGHT' CHRISTENED IN HONOR OF FATHER OF FLYING! In honor of the late Wilbur Wright, considered the father of flying, a flying boat, named after him, was launched by the Wright Aeronautical Corporation at the Columbia Yacht Club, New York City. Tuesday morning, with his brother, Orville, and sister, Miss Katherine, who christened the plane, present. Miss Wright has been considered the 'business head' of the Wright Brothers during each of their experiments in flying.
