Date Sold 2/21/2021 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 5 letters and telegrams to H. Bruce Humberstone. This is a fun group! It came from the same source that had the many Humberstone key book stills that we auctioned. This consists of three letters and two telegrams sent to Humberstone and one of them is from Mrs. Ernst Lubitsch, asking him to listen to a radio show she was involved with. One is from Sam Jaffe wishing Humberstone luck, and one is from the 20th Century-Fox office telling him that he has been observed "speeding on the lot", and that "all employees need the benefit of your example to curb reckless driving on the lot"! H. Bruce Humberstone was a director from the 1920s to the 1960s. Some of his movies include: I Wake Up Screaming, Wonder Man, and Tarzan and the Lost Safari. Humberstone passed away in 1984 at the age of 82. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1930s to the 1940s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them.
